JUNIOR CERTIFICATE SAMPLE DESIGN POTFOLIO
This portfolio is a guide for students completing their own Junior Certificate Design Portfolio.
1ST YEAR DESK TIDY
As part of our first year taster programme 1st year students have created a desk tidy/iPad stand in September 2019.
PHOTO HOLDER PROJECT
2nd Year MTW students have created a photo holder project. By weaving string between the two uprights they have a place to hang small Polaroid photos. The uprights and base are joined by a set of finger joints, one of the key skills students need in Woodwork.
COLLABORATIVE TABLE PROJECT
SAMPLE JUNIOR CERTIFICATE PROJECT
In 2015 while at Hartstown Community School I had students work in groups of 4 to create a table project which was then given to the school to be placed in communal spaces within the school.
A student created this project to hold headphones, computer games and magazines to satisfy a brief outlined for his Junior Certificate project.
