JUNIOR CERTIFICATE PROJECT
This bridge was designed by one of my 3rd year students. Upon pressing the PTM switch it will raise until it reaches a limit switch and then if pressed again it will lower until it reaches to other limit switch. This student used a genie board in this project.

FAN PROJECT
Created by a 2nd year student this fan project turns on when the push to make switch is held.
For more examples of my work, don’t hesitate to reach out.
BUBBLE LIGHT PROJECT
This project, created at the beginning of 2nd Year contained a basic LED circuit with an SPST(on/off) switch. The body is created out of 3mm Acrylic and students use the hot wire strip heater to bend it into shape.

1ST YEAR IPAD STAND
Students in 1st year Technology creat this iPad stand using 3mm Acrylic. They cut the opening using a coping saw, file it square and bend the shape using the hot wire strip heater.

To provide a tangible showcase of my work, I’ve included a portfolio of my most recent projects. Take a moment to explore below, and reach out if you’re interested in learning more about what I have to offer.
PRACTICALLY LEARNING THEORY
Students learn theory concepts in Technology using practical means. In this case they take the circuits outlined in this keynote and create simulations using Circuit Wizard.

CONTROL TECHNOLOGY
Students often use control technology for various projects in Technology. This is an example of a genie board with an LDR activating a song.
TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED LEARNING
HOW TO USE A DOVETAIL SAW TO CROSS CUT AÂ TRENCH.
Students record my practical demonstrations and animate them with the key steps. This allows them to look back if they get stuck or when it comes to revision.
HOW TO USE A CHISEL TO REMOVE A TRENCH

USING CLIPS TO ENHANCE UNDERSTANDING OF ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS
Students build circuits physically or using simulation software and clips allows them to animate their work. This enhances their understanding, increases retention and provides them with a study resource for future exams.
